Has he shown any signs of being a danger? he has admitted to being a little 'unhinged' but to sign people off as dangerous for this is completely over the top.

People are honestly worried he would turn up to meet people on this board? You claim to be an ex soldier but you are worried he might be a danger to you?

Neither did I. For what it's worth, I lost a lot more money to Chasing the Aurora than anyone else. Doesn't make it right but - and here's the key - CtA was never a hoax or a fake or in any other way the subject of fantasy.

I think Craig did not set up the North Pole expedition for fraudulent purposes. His attempt at this could have been genuine. But its only my opinion and only he knows what the truth behind this is.

I don't believe that anyone was defrauded. Those that donated money were refunded, or the money went to the charities involved. Craig spent his own money on purchasing items for the expedition, which he says he still has. He did not go on the expedition.

Wikipedia defines fraud as

In the broadest sense, a fraud is an intentional deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual;

I do not think that that applied in this case.

People may have been duped - some more than others, some more than once. Some of those that were seem very bitter that they believed everything that they read on an internet forum.

Craig has been punished by the judicial system, and is seeking treatment for his illness. I can only hope that the doctors get to the bottom of it and an appropriate treatment can be found.
