Craig, what is your current job? As in, you have dabbled in professions that are not remotely connected to each other and got bored of them all, so what are you doing now ? What does Menelaus Consulting do?

Thank you for a sensible question and a non-flame. I'm doing exactly the same as I've been doing for years: I build models for banking and financial services clients.

My only question is why would you come onto an Internet forum using the login which has all of the ties to your real self. You could of course participate on the forums as a character/personality without having to be a real person.

What does this serve unless that you want to be known for your real life personality and therefore wish to have real life relationships with individuals on the board.

I don't get why you need this real life acceptance?

There's minimal chance I'm taking the time to read all that shíte. Can anybody summarise what the hell the OP is on about?

Why would whatever he done in his personal private life somehow be of interest or relevant to this forum?

No need - but if I came back to this board with a new ID it would imply that I was trying to hide from my past, which I am not. I'm acknowledging it and making my peace with it.

Part of that peacemaking is making my peace with those members of the CUK community who felt that they were subject to my being untruthful about a past exercise called Chasing the Aurora.

                      I understand that.

But my question remains why. If it's to alleviate yourself of guilt, well then you have apologised and you can move on.

To stay and participate under your 'real identity' is the question. If you seek absolution does this mean you then want to participate with members in real life? Or is this cathartic as part of a therapy.

I struggle with why you would need to continue to be 'yourself' unless at some point you want to interact IRL. Is that what you want from the forum members?
