Now as far as I know claiming to be a doctor is a crime and claiming to be a judge is also a crime, now as far as I can see Craig is being accused of all sorts of crimes, some which he has done which he has spent time for and some which he has been accused of and tried of on these forums.

Menelaus, the only thing I know that has directly affected members of CUK is the chasing the Aurora affair, of which I know little... my understanding is it was a false charity to which some CUK members gave money?

In the interests of setting facts straight can you give your side of the story here, and if people did give money, answer what happened to said money?

As for the name the offences were committed in - that was changed by deed poll and I was charged as Alexander, rather than as Colclough. Either way, the effect is the same.

Turning to the question of working in financial services, I work for an NBFI (non-banking financial institution (and no, I'm not telling you who it is, but yes, I did 'fess up to this at interview).

If the "clearance" referred to is the requirement in some senior roles to be FSA authorised, I am not authorised by the FSA and never have been (nor do I wish to be). Some years ago I went through the process but left the organisation prior to its conclusion.
