Excuse me? I think I've already stated elsewhere that I don't like anyone.Originally posted by Drewster View Post"everyone" likes you MP.....

I'm sorry if I gave that impression - I certainly didn't mean to.Originally posted by MaryPoppins View Post
Thought you didn't like me! I might stay now then.
I sincerely believe that it is sad when long-time posters feel that they should leave - whether voluntarily or that they feel bullied in any way.
I would certainly encourage those that are considering leaving to at least wait for the new rules and the new boards to appear before leaving for good. Big changes are promised, and I think it would be silly to make a decision at this stage when the powers that be have said that they are listening to concerns that have been raised, and are trying to work on the future of the board.
Unless I am absolutely forced to, I will not be leaving CUK before I have had a chance to see what the changes are - despite the fact that for some time it has not been as enjoyable as it once was.Comment

"Leaving" a forum is a slightly pointless action. If you don't like it right now, don't make a big statement about leaving. Just don't visit for a few weeks. Or pop in every few days to take a read but don't post.
All the people posting about how they're leaving has a more negative effect on the forum than the things upsetting them, IMHO.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

It's a good point. I used to view this as somewhere that would provide me with invaluable advice on the odd occasion (which it has) and later on, give me a bit of a giggle. It would be nice to get that back.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostI'm sorry if I gave that impression - I certainly didn't mean to.

The giggles have been less and less recently, and I am now at a point where I most certainly don't want to create any new posts - and am loathe to contribute.
I s'pose I just find this trolling business a bit confuddling. What's the point?Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

But they are so desperate to be "noticed".... if they just didn't post everyone would assume they were just busy or something.... but by Saying they are leaving - WOW Big whoop! we are all so impressed!!Originally posted by d000hg View Post"Leaving" a forum is a slightly pointless action. If people drift off without making it clear that they are upset about something - how can anyone make any attempt to improve the situation? You might get the occasional "oh, I wonder where sasguru" is comment, but it's not going to make any changes to the forum.Originally posted by d000hg View Post"Leaving" a forum is a slightly pointless action. If enough people actually make a point of highlighting that they are unhappy about something, then something might be done about it. It's the equivalent of not voting and then complaining about those in power.Comment

I'm just trying to make a point that a few people are making life miserable for all by the fact they have no manners whatsoever, are ignoring any semblence of etiquette, are generally being abusive and hounding people off the site.Originally posted by Drewster View PostBut they are so desperate to be "noticed".... if they just didn't post everyone would assume they were just busy or something.... but by Saying they are leaving - WOW Big whoop! we are all so impressed!!
The new changes will be welcome and the mods have had a lot on their hands in light of recent events. I do not envy them one bit.
Its just the fact that some people seem to think it is perfectly all right to behave in such a manner online, if they were to do the same in a face to face situation there surely would be more than just
