Why did he go straight to ban?
I thought it was fair comment since I had read somewhere that the context was what made the difference, and used a phrase that has been used 41 times on CUK in the past (including by other moderators), including

All fairly recent, so it's not as if it has suddenly become a banned phrase - or has it?

To be fair to the moderation team, scotspine gave me an infraction. Just before a different moderator banned me.
Welcome back.
As I alluded to in another thread. I reported a post I thought contained abusive name calling, but it has been let go.
I am confused as to wether this means that word is allowed.. or just allowed by certain people. I guess the same query applies to your examples.Comment
