It says that, statistically, the world hasn't cooled down since 1998.
Take a statistics course - it may help you understand the basics of what you're trying to argue about

which means it hasn't warmed up either, ah hang on for 12 years we have no change!, and certainly no warming. Why? Why hasn't the CO2 warmed up the planet over 12 years?

        Err, cold weather.

It's just been cold for the last 12 years. It's just cold weather masking the massive global warming.

If it wasn't for the 12 years of cold weather, it would be really hot now.

          however

          http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/11/0...atellite-data/

Maybe when the falsified figures from the CRU are corrected it might be statistically significant.

Would be nice if they would release the data....we don't want to

          hide the decline

          do we

He said the world HAD cooled, but it wasn't statistically significant.

I could punch you in the face and it would hurt, but over the course of your lifetime the hurt would be statistically insignificant

              oh look at that!

The arctic ice extent is currently largest since 2005 oh, how odd, must be the weather.

If you understood basic science you would know the significance of a p-value in any paper published nowadays, rightly or wrongly. You're only showing your ignorance.

But look at the CO2 level. It looks just like a hockey stick!

Jeez, the world must have melted by now!

I mean, it looked like the global temperature was a hockey stick back in the 90's.
