The bombers used different and cheaper materials you dimwit. The costs of producing 'a bomb' have not fallen as such.
If your neighbour buys a Mercedes on monday for £60K and you buy a Ford Fiesta for £10K on Tuesday, your declaration that the price of cars had fallen would simply be idiotic. Is any of this getting through Chico?!

Where does it say that the same chemicals were used in London as Madrid? Having some knowledge in the field, I can confidently state that if the Madrid bombings cost x10 more than the London bombings then the same materials were not used.
This is fun. Bombs in Madrid cost £10,000 a few years ago. Last July it cost a few hundred pounds.So is the cost of making bombs constant going up, going down or constant? Will any articulate and coherent economists clarify for the assembled masses please.
