do not let it look obvious that you have nout to do
one of my contracts it took 9 weeks to get a logon to the systems :-)
Milan.
It's true. Just try and look busy. I had a role where I didnt get a login until the Friday afternoon. I sat there for a week reading manuals, and to be honest ran out of stuff to do, so started meeting people.
I was accused of not doing any work and putting people off by talking to them. I was then let go!!!!
Unbelievable!!! Anyway I sued for that and didnt get anywhere.
I still remember the name of the PM. One day pal. One ******* day!

3 hours to go till the end of my 2nd week as a contractor and in a wierd situation. Me and colleague (experienced contractor) are yet 2 be given any real work and are starting to get worried. They are slow to get things signed off but now starting to think what the point of us being here is......

And if you aren't given any info, make it up and call it the initial draft.
Honestly, you have to spoon feed 'em...

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
