NOOOOO! I'm quoting Keynes I am feeling dirty. Although his lasts words were supposed to have been, "I should have drunk more champagne".
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

If you want to give your children good (private) education it will cost like what, £20k per year per child, and what if you have few children? £40k after tax is like £80k gross required just to give children good education.

The market has decided how much money is too much.

Read up a bit more on the market - some things are not considered legal there, such as for example predatory pricing or "dumping".

UK tightens visa rules for Indian IT professionals

It has been claimed that this enables jobs in the IT and other sectors to be taken by migrants who are paid less than resident workers.

The Home Office, however, said that this was not true. "Workers coming to the UK in the Tier 2 (Intra company transfer) category must be paid the going rate", it said.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Not sure about that, seems like just business to me.

Nothing illegal that anyone can provide concrete evidence about, as opposed to the skewed anecdotal type.

Then I have only been in the market for 27 years now.....

There was something Darwin said about species that could not adapt to change, strange, I just cant put my finger on it.....must be my age....

As I said, no legislation to stop it, they are just enforcing the rules as they are obligated to do.

Dude, this is not a question of legality!

It's strategic consideration - if country cuts off its legs and gets no tax revenues, then htf you expect country to continue developing?

This BN66 stuff is a tax dodge from my point of view, however the loss of tax revenues from those alleged 55k ICTs ought to be an order of magnitude bigger.

You would have to ask the government about that, but Im sure that they have it all in hand.

Oh ffs, what part of 'must be paid the going rate' don't you get? This is not happening, the home office wouldn't have tightened the rules last month if the system wasn't being abused.

Can you not also see that a great number of people will not be able to adapt, they may have reached their mental zenith... but "feck em' eh".

I don't have to ask Govt **** - when I became Her Majesty's loyal citizen I thought I would not vote in General Election because it is not up to newcomer like me decide how people should live here, however **** that - I am going and voting against this Govt

Your position "I am all right jack" is very stupid - you won't be all right and just because you retire soon does not mean you won't be paying extra.
