When I changed things around for this new server and set up MS Exchange again, I forgot to add in a few e-mail addresses. The thing is, that was nearly a year ago.

It's one way of dealing with spam.

On a similar theme I have a facebook profile I never visit, a mobile phone I never switch on, and an address I'm never at.

I also ignore the doorbell until the third press, never answer 'unknown' phone calls on the mobile I do have switched on, and don't have a phone plugged into the landline I only use for broadband.

Any other tips?

Oddly enough I know several contractors who do the same. They don't get it, the tax people will always catch up with you.

It's not HMRC () I'm ignoring, just the plebs who think I want to buy whatever crap they're peddling.

Be they agents (don't call me, I'll call you ), call centres, door-to-door, pikies, or people I used to know and now couldn't care less about, the message is one and the same: FOAD!
