Now - food. It depends on whether you want a beer night or a beer/food night.

The V&F does the traditional hearty ham/cheese & onion bap/cob with a side order of crisps, but other eateries around there are a bit limited. there is a chippy and what you would expect around a station. If you want an Indian, etc it would mean leaving the hostelry and finding somewhere (probably in the Hockley environs...)

Any thoughts BB?
