    your right and only an Acid kit will tell you what you have, its easy to get a fair weight in 9ct gold. Profit margins tend to be better for 22ct gold.

    India is a good place to shop for it if you can, but make sure you test before buying.

    I've been know to sit in a coffee shop in London with my scales and acid kit testing gold from a suppler....before handing over the readies.

                    I have also been tempted by the:

                    'Look at scrap gold on eBay, you can get some at good prices. Also look for gold jewellery, this can go for far less than the scrap price.'


                    but my worry with buying scrap from éBay is that, as they put it in 'Snatch', I wouldn't know if it is moody gold or not
