      Divvie! von Neumann and Bracewell are the humans who, thinking about how any civilisation would explore the galaxy would send these probes out into deep space to gather the information.

      The fact is, this probe has made fly by's of Venus and Mars which, along with Earth would appear to any non terrestial civilisations, as the planets in the solar system most likely to harbour multicellular lifeforms.
