The Golden Jubilee Bank Holiday in 2002 was not announced until November 2000.

The Government do a referendum??? you mean they will abolish the royalty saying that it is for the good of the country and that they will spend the money saved on the NHS but in reality they will give MP's a pay rise

On Weds 29th Feb 2012 is International Contractors Day when only the temporary and contract staff get paid.

The permies have to go in for no extra money.

I luuurve it with 29th Feb is a working day.

I don't object to the Monarchy and an extra Bank Holiday is ok (apart from not being able to bill of course), but we really don't need another Bank Holiday in the summer.
