Speaking as The Internet, which I am, might I suggest that in future you give the evidence of your own eyes a higher status than something you read on a web siteOriginally posted by SuperZ View PostI could of told ya it was going to snow before the Met Office updated the site - the sky looked full of it
Might I further suggest that when it's winter and much of the country has been experiencing snow, it might be sensible to use a vehicle capable of dealing with snow, or at least to not use one that will clearly be rubbish in snow :beatoverheadwithcluestick: - ah, that isn't (yet) a smiley; let's useOriginally posted by SuperZ View Post...multiple near misses while even being extra careful (350hp RWD doesn`t help)...

(FWIW, my twenty-year-old Ford Orion has been getting me from A to any other letter of the alphabet and back again without any problems during the recent spell of inclement weather - you should see if you can find one for sale. Mine isn't.)Comment

My VW Golf goes anywhere in the snow.
Anywhere I don't want it to go
Can't understand it! I had a Mini last time we had heavy snow, I was driving past 4x4's stuck in the snow.
They are both light front wheel drive vehicles, why the appalling difference?Confusion is a natural state of beingComment

Had to abondon my car at the AA HQ car park as Basingstoke came to a standstill yesterday afternoon due to the snow. I managed to walk to the station and get a train to Southampton, but that still took me 4 hours.
My wife is still stuck in Bracknell after visiting her mum and dad.
Not sure how today will pan out. Managed to get back in the office by train again, but Basingstoke still looks pretty horrendous to drive in.
Oh...and where's everyone else? Oh yeah...they're permies....
