Been chucking it daaaaaaaaaaan in Luton. Went to the Jolly Topers with the family to sip Guiness and play snap. Got thrashed by my 2 year old.
Sister in law was due to come over tonight so SY02 could go out for a 'girly' night. S.I.L. was dubious about travelling but I reassured her it was sleet and not to be such a girl.
Just had to hotfoot it out the door with a spade to go and rescue her.
Poxy rain now here which means that it will freeze overnight making a huge ice rink of the whole area. Wanted to drive to Luxembourg tomorrow to stock up on cheap fags for Christmas
Now its snow and rain, 80% chance of falling on your cocyx

Reason: Change in weather
“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”
I believe the Met Office has done another crap forecast today. Their own website had conflicts (weather warnings in place but obs and forecast showed no snow). It snowed heaps, result = multiple near misses while even being extra careful (350hp RWD doesn`t help) andcar abondoned in field which I considered I`d have to sleep in as I was 8 miles away from home in the middle of nowhere but ended up getting a lift in a 4WD that happened to pass me. As of yesterday evening and this morning and even at around 10:20 AM the Met Office showed okay weather, not long before it occured did they update the site to show weather warning but the obs and forecast for the near future still looked okay.
What a crap website it is too IMO, not great to use.
Global warning predictions, man made and all that? Can`t even do a great forecast one day ahead. I could of told ya it was going to snow before the Met Office updated the site - the sky looked full of it
