It's in my collection. I'm a huge fan of Manga in general. Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke) and Isao Takahata (Grave of the Fireflies) especially.Originally posted by Spacecadet View PostHave you seen this version of metropolis? The close proximity of the letters 'G' and 'T' are the reason I'll never again send an important email and end it with "Regards" ....Comment

I was SO disappointed with Sunshine... great effects, dramatic back-story, stunning visuals. But absolute utter crap because the story was so so poor.Originally posted by gingerjedi View PostOh good, I sky+'d it [Sunshine] but wasn't sure if it was worth watching, most films stay on there for about 2 months before being deleted to make room for more films that may or may not get watched.
However, if you liked Event Horizon, you'll like Sunshine.
Me, I hated both.Last edited by Platypus; 15 December 2009, 11:33.Comment

Considering the number of geeks replying in this thread I'm shocked its not been mentioned by anyone else, it's a modern Sci-Fi classic.

- Star Wars - the original trilogy
- Starman
- The Matrix
- The Terminator 1 & 2
In all likelihood, I would probably add Moon to the list but need to see it a few more times to confirm.
