The £1000 I lost was the £1000 I made the other week. So I've lost only my winnings.

I still have my original £300 pot to play with.

Some people spend £10 a week on the lottery.

Treat it as a learning fee . Every trader has to pay it

Well I am in the process of buying a house but its not as if I can't do that if these last to trades bottom out, however I was only looking to play with £2-300 (now at about a bag of sand), I got stupid, and just kept putting more money in to lower my stops... I may still be OK... fingers crossed!... but I doubt it!

Hi there Mr. Optimist. I've got £12K on which I can afford to loose, but would probably be a little upset. For what it is worth here is a broker's comments that I found after I'd placed my bet:

Interesting. It's the first time I read a brokers report, so it's interesting but a bit gobbledy gooky. Well I hope your 12k turns into 250k , I really do. Call your house 'Falkland Gold' or 'FckYouEO' or something

                  I like it.

Everytime you lose it's just the cost of learning an additional bit of info to refine your system.

Everytime you win it's because the system works.

Like with my roulette system. It ALWAYS lands on red except for spins 3,5,8 and 9 in a 10 spin cycle. Unless it's a Tuesday and/or it's raining. Oh, and every third cycle it's spins 1,2,4,9 but apart from that it's fine.

If there's lots of oil it would help out UK PLC quite nicely too, which is good to know.

Anyway, the gamble is so I can be a true contractor and buy a house for cash.
