Has been fine for me since closing the thread. A lot faster. And no mails despite the fact people have been viewing the thread. Is it simply viewing threads or replying that seems to take a time to complete?

I haven't had a problem logging in. The site runs just fine most of the time.
I've noticed speed issues during the day and late at night.

I blame most of the speed problems on the fact that Firefox is using shed loads of memory on my laptop at the moment - too much Farmville.

Mafia Wars does that as well. Spend more than 10 minutes playing on it and the PC grinds to a crawl.
