I asked a similar question a few weeks back and, partly based on the consensus of sensible answers here, decided to stay.
In hindsight, I'm glad I did. Better another three months during the winter than not.
My commute is only three hours total though and I've got rusty radiators that don't need bleeding.
Stay and keep looking for alternatives IMO.Comment

OP seems to be in a situation where she is more than comfortable to be away from this both financially and mentally. I would say that pretty much answers it to be honest.
What I would do is what ctdctd says and actively look for something else for a set period of time just for piece of mind. I think if you have a go at this then you will never be able to look back and regret your decision. You can shrug your shoulders and say well you tried to get another job. If you just quit you could look back and say I wish i hadn't done that.
A lot of things can happen for both of you in 6 months so would certainly consider leaving as an option if your so unhappy. If you stick it through it's gonna eat u alive which you will take out on your home life etc etc.
Tell us what you decide though!!
Might be hypothetical but will help with piece of mind maybe??Last edited by northernladuk; 12 November 2009, 10:08.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

Have been approached by an ex-clientco so will be chatting about that tomorrow (not ideal, but....).
Have a couple of irons in fire at another place, but it's been dragging for some time.
Doesn't help that hippy pimp (who doesn't like to call himself a pimp, don't ask) is getting on my nerves re renewal and notice periods.Comment
