They wre interviewing Haye on R4 this morning. Came over as an intelligent and articulate bloke.
Talking about his hand. He said he thinks he's broken it and did it in the second round. He'd done it once before, a few years ago, when he hit his opponent on the head with a badly aimed punch. Skulls being somewhat resilient when hit, his hand came off worse. Apparently this time he did it punching the other guys jaw!
It may not have been an entertaining fight to watch but Haye did exactly what he needed to do. Nothing flashy, no showboating, just work hard and out box the other guy."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment
