i`ve cut down a lot recently also, gone from 6 units a week avereage to about 3 units of week average . That`s down 50%.

I sleep badly and see dead people if I drink too much. 75% of a bottle of wine is way toooooo much for me.

Mine has crept up this year. When we worked out the units we were both in excess of 70 units a week.

So we have a pact to not drink. Tomorrow we go for a bicycle ride, and have talk of badminton, table tennis, and even squash.

Although we don't want to get ahead of oursleves. To be honest, my drinking is quite bad, but it is a recent occurance. He has been hitting the Vodka for a number of years. That said, I get that I am in trouble.

So tomorrow is another day. If anyone else wants in, then this is the time. 1200 midnight, it's soberville for suityou01.
My last beer (the only alcohol I drink) was at Christmas at my bro-in-law's. Haven't touched a drop since. Been out every day since for a long (long, long!) walk. Overall, since I started the health kick, I'm 3 stone lighter. Now weigh the same as when I was 17 (and I was a skinny bugger in those days...) Feel like a young kid again (no, not like that!)

      Best of luck.

Or maybe you just contract in a morgue? In which case, why are you sleeping on the job..?

From the NHS, Where to get help for alcohol problems:
If your body has become dependent on booze, stopping drinking overnight can be life threatening, so get advice about cutting down gradually.

You should get that doctor to set them right

Or let us know where they practice so we can stay the hell away from them

I'm curious, how long? (in mins or miles)

She just laughed at the "ethanol drip" suggestion from OwlHoot.

"no no no, that is not what they get"

She remarked as she walked off.
