In different countries they charge differently because their supplies are local in nature. That's why price of BigMac is often used as purchasing power comparison rather than direct currency exchange rate.

Does McDonalds on Oxford Street charge for the same meal more than one located in Dundee? I think not. That's because it is more important for them to maximise profits over long period of time rather than take advantage of location on Oxford street to make as much as they can get away with.

Yes they do, they also charge more at other locations like motorway service stations where they have relatively captive audiences.

If you're going to make idiotic analogies at least get your facts straight.

I used to tolerate your drivel in the past, but now it's just plain trolling.

Oh, so BigMac at Motorway juction costs more? I can't remember seeing McDonalds there, but Burger King has got the same prices.

You are too aggressive for no good reason - I don't post anymore during work time, so there is maybe another hour or so of "trolling"...

Don't like the fact someone's point of view might possibly imply something negative about you? Simples, label it trolling.

Do you even know what trolling is?

He probably does, but his anger clouds his judgment.

The point of me posting this thread was not trolling or attempt to insult people on here, just to record an observation that has occurred to me today whilst reading the other thread.

Time to go, need to get up early to go the office to my permie job.

If you're thinking of hiring a contractor for what is essentially a permanent role, you're doing it wrong.

If you're thinking of employing somebody for what is essentially a short-term role, you're doing it wrong.

Anyway, best of luck with SKA
