I've just bought a binary for FTSE to close down today. May win or lose, but a good bet.

I reckon you've lost that bet.

        So do I.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Yes, I was close, but luckily I covered my deposit by a regular short on the FTSE at the big 5300 number.

If you've ever read Mark Douglas "Trading In The Zone", you'll know that one win or loss should bear no importance. It's how you perform over a series of trades. That is a big psychological stumbling block for most traders.

Is it possible to be close and wrong in a 50/50 bet?

Give me a break. I'm not an expert at dealing with dumb-wits.

You'd have to become one if you want to deal with the dumb-wits on this forum...
