Was she black? The white house comment is surprising if not. If she is I`d place good money on her being as racist as any racist white person is....as well as sexist.
She sounds similar to someone I once dated(double barrelled)

You should have replied with,
Look, "love", if I wanted your opinion I'd have given it to you. You lefty feminists are responsible for countless ills in this country and we'd have all been better off if you'd just stayed in the kitchen through the '60s & '70s.
That, if you were lucky, would have sent her into a flabbergasted spiral of annoyance that would have had her sitting in the corner wibbling to herself for the rest of the evening - job done."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

Used to bump into a lot of people like that when I lived in London and I hit upon the idea of telling them I was an arms dealer (small ordinance & landmines mainly) Most of them took the bait as well and ended up working themselves into a proper state.

I shall be deploying that tactic at the first opportunity.
You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.
