He is trying to avoid it - he is certainly very well aware that his medical condition, even if true, won't mean jack there, and frankly I doubt it would have meant much in UK courts: he just knows he can't really be prosecuted here because he committed crime in the USA (via network), and even if he did he'd get very lax sentence here.

guru I have autism. I don't know, maybe I do? If so, I can't see how having it would in any way eliminate my responsibility for my actions, maybe reduce it in some case, but I certainly don't think so, and in any case it is for the court to decide.
