Rats, I'm off home now too...

Mind you, if it's what we all suspect he won't get access to his work computer again anyway...

I once heard of the 5pm meeting the other way round: “While you lot are in here. All those outside are being told to clear their desks.....”
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I reckon there's now around 20 agents monitoring this thread, wondering which client it is and whether there may be an opening....and 200 benched contractors

Probably on his knees pleading at this very moment. That or he's stuck one on the poor messenger and been escorted from the building.

Well, if he does get tulip-canned, it'll solve the "missing the family" problem.

Yes, there are different variants of the '5pm meeting' thing, but what they have in common is that the outcome is almost always bad. In my career I've had this 4 times. On 3occassions I was canned. For the other time, a large group got canned, but I was with a rump of survivors - only for us all to get canned 3 months later in another 5pm meeting.

Must have been escorted from the building by now. Otherwise he would have quickly reported back here before leaving. We surely wouldn't just be left in the lurch?!
