When I was growing up in india my mother used to make all us boys stand in a line and hold out our hands for inspection before we went into the pantry to dine. I always thought these high standards of hygiene were instilled in us by you Britishers. You can imagine my surprise when I came here. I mean some people don't wash there hands after using the bathroom. I was always taught to wash my hands when I went to the bathroom - both before and after.Comment

to be honest, if I was going to hold your kn0b, I'd wash my hands before and after as well.Originally posted by chetty View PostWhen I was growing up in india my mother used to make all us boys stand in a line and hold out our hands for inspection before we went into the pantry to dine. I love this story...

Why would you need to wash your hands if you've just had a bath?Originally posted by chetty View PostI mean some people don't wash there[sic] hands after using the bathroom. I was always taught to wash my hands when I went to the bathroom - both before and after.Comment

There isn't any Islamic injunction on alcohol for these purposes same as there's no Muslim injunctions on viewing pictures of pigs, seeing Christmas celebrated etc etc. Muslim groups have confirmed all these things.
Some awkward nuisances just like to see how far they can push the limits and I cannot understand why we pander to them as if they represented all Muslim opinion. If they won't do the job they contracted to do, sack the buggers.bloggoth
If everything isn't black and white, I say, 'Why the hell not?'

I suppose if you put all this together, esp Minestones linky, we should refuse to shake hands with Muslims on grounds of hygiene. i.e. we dont want to pass our Northerm poo germs to them
