"Oh ok, well the boots on the other foot now then isn't it?"
So I was wetting myself with anticipation but the aforementioned git has apparently bagged another gig elsewhere and didn't bother turning up today. Git.Last edited by moorfield; 24 July 2009, 20:46.Comment

Or, the agency gave said git the details for the interview, including your name, who then thought better of it and made up a lie.Originally posted by moorfield View PostSo I was wetting myself with anticipation but the aforementioned git has apparently bagged another gig elsewhere and didn't bother turning up today. Once he spotted the name of the interviewer, he probably thought 'f**** that! He'll give me a real grilling after the roasting I gave him.'I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

That's a bucket of water for the fires of anticipation and no mistake.Comment

I doubt it. It is an established fact (Kruger, Dunning) that incompetent people are unable to see their incompetence and rate themselves as competent. I should think that most gits are equally unable to see that they are gits, and rate themselves well, so he probably thought that he had been only fair to you; and that, if you were fair to him in return, he'd get the job.Originally posted by BolshieBastard View PostWHS.

You're putting too much value into the fact that he'd remember who you are. Don't forget, to you he was the tw@t that left you benched when that job had your name written all over it. To him, you're just 1 out of 10 guys he'd interviewed and he'd forgotten your name by the end of the day.
He would have known your name after the interview though.
2 wrongs don't make a right, but hell it gives better satisfaction.

Too right I was interviewed and rejected, a few months later I was facing her again, when I mentioned I been there before she said I must have been mistaken. I think these interviewers have so many people that they really don´t remember you after a week.Originally posted by Incognito View PostYou're putting too much value into the fact that he'd remember who you are.
