Blimey more than me and I've been here 20 years, well done Actually I just don't have the time but have recently been looking at a private tutor as my written German is cak.
“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”
Honestly - the lengths you guys will go to for a shag
I have no idea what your talking about, I simply want to improve my language skills so that my gf can speak her home language around the house and I can enjoy her fantastic accent more often. She appreciates the gesture and thinks it will help in getting future work in Germany.
The fact she speaks at 100mph in Kolsch slang and doesn't understand that I dont actually get to choose my contract location given the current climate is irrelevant, I get brownie points for the effort and she's happy im showing some commitment.
From my point of view, I'm in Munich mon - fri and get to see gf chef at weekends, I figure I need a distraction from the copius amounts of beer im drinking with a fellow englishman each night and that 2hrs per night twice a week improving my language is far better than the "im enrolling in a gym and going on a diet" that he suggested.
