Agencies have started to wake up....

Today I've had one phone interview, went very well but it's in Wales of all places. Still mulling it over if it's really worth it.

Agency on the phone at 8.25am this morning trying to sort out a face to face for next week. I told them I want a phone interview first. They are obtaining times for early next week.

Had another agency on the phone tonight - >7pm Another role in Wales, SC offered as part of the deal. Not keen.

Another setting up an interview in Merseyside for next week.

Finally, had an email from an agency advising me that unfortunately I wasn't successful on a role I'd applied for two weeks ago - But I hadn't even had a agency phone call saying I was being put forward for???

They said £350max and with travelling 5hrs both ways and staying over 5nights a week - also waiting 6-8 weeks for SC before I start, I didn't think it was a good deal...

Feck me, that's more than I've ever got in Wales.

I was going to disagree when I saw that this morning, but now I can't.

I have applied for ten valid gigs today. All ones for which I could reasonably expect an interview under normal circumstances.

Including: two phone calls from agents calling me.

And with Special Star Feature: a previous ClientCo are advertising and the agent I went through last time has put me forward.

For future referance I'm always right
