I've done some IT4Communities projects. Also, I regularly do stuff for the BCS and IAP.

I had a good old go at that in the downturn around 2001 with not a huge amount of success so haven't tried particularly hard this time around - there's too much established competition and too few customers. But I have done some business consultancy for an hosting company.

I have just had a call - a telephone interview today at 16:30

      Sure it wasn't at 1327?

      Good luck!

              Howditgo?

It could have been more slick on my part, but then don't we all hate smooth, smarmy PMs? It was good practice and I learned enough to make a damn good impression if I get invited to a face-to-face.

Rather work for a smarmy one than a bully.

Well done. Sounds like you got back in the swing easy enough.

Those are good suggestions. I always recommend to others that they pick up some voluntary work because it is good for the mental health as well as the CV. And most of us can manage a small Plan B even if it is PC support, so that is another good suggestion.

Do you have any others ideas that might benefit us benchees?
