And this isn't good for morale either.

The way you look is hugely important to a modern day PM. Unshaven and untidy doesn't really make it in the current market... DO you honestly believe you'd get hired at the moment if you turn up unshaved and your hair tied back!!??Comment

Oh dear.
<--- See that. That's me, that is. All pink about the face. And arms. And legs, feet, neck, ears...
That luvverly day in Bournemouth yesterday has had consequences. The sunburn has started to peel. So I'll be going to the interview with a peeling face. That can't be good surely?
I shall claim "Using the laptop in the garden on WiFi while learning Python", I think.
Or how about "It takes me six hours to cut the grass on my country estate"?
Or shall I stick to the truth: I went to the seaside and got sunburned? But I just know what some smart-arse permie will say: "But as a PM, surely you should have thought ahead, done a risk assessment and mitigated the risk by using sun-cream?" At which point Security will be called and I shall be escorted from the building for slapping someone who needed it.
I wonder what I'll look like, all pink but white-lined round the edges and chin when I have my haircut & shave? My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment
