Feeling awful today after feeling ok yesterday and worse than ever with aches everywhere. This is now my 10th day of symptoms. No doubt now in my mind that this must be the dreaded swineflu.
I had a sore throat and cold for a few days, which had gone away by yesterday, but then in the afternoon I started getting a stomach ache, turned the heating on and up because I was shivering, and ended the night throwing up.
I hope this is the flu because it's been nothing. Today I just feel a bit tired through lack of sleep and food, but otherwise fine.
But being on the bench, living by myself and generally being an anti-social bastard of late I'm not sure where I could have caught it.
I'll come too. I would prefer to catch it in Summer, if I haven't already had it.
Obquestion: Does the size of the 'inoculation dose' (forgetting the correct terminology for the number of lurgies you need to be exposed to to catch something) affect the symptoms, or is it all or nothing, i.e. you catch a cold/flu or don't? Or another example, would a really small dose produce an immune response with few symtoms, whereas a large flemmy dose could really fook you up?
