It depends how you define regional.

I have a strong West London Accent....despite being Indian in origin.

I change my accent depending on the audience.

Normally it's a clean, english private school accent, but I'll roughen it if with people that may not appreciate a posh accent.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

So if you are addressing a bunch of women....what then?

Probably not a situation that arises.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Hey, the way he described his , er 'extra curricular' activities, it had to be true. No one could make that up.

Anyways he has settled down now with Halo

Yes, not a very likely contingency.

Hmm, I like the idea of an S&M voice...

As for a group of ladies, the same as the men. It's not an accent specifically aimed at gender, but more social situation. At least that's what we were taught in elocution.

So you don't apply a G-Clamp in the mid-section prior to facing a group of women then?
