      Nor me, the really great players are pretty consistant and can dig in when needed, Freddy seemed to need the right sort of game to play to his potential.

      I'm surprised England won the Ashes, but very pleased. Aus have a little rebuilding to do now, they certainly missed having a great spinner.

        Completely agree - though I can't help feeling that this was a series between two decidedly average teams, both of which which had been annihilated had they been up against 2005's opposition.

              Although he didn't have a great match, it did get Ponting out at an important point in the 4th innings (in superb fashion as well).

              We probably would have won anyway, but the Aussie's were beginning to build some momentum and Freddie killed it stone dead just when it mattered most.

              Often it's the really small things that can turn a match around.
