So where is the campaign to move our accounts away from Lloyds?
Hmm... difficult one to call. One the one hand - Churchy is being a little intense - but then again, you are a twat. So it's 50/50 for me.
...do I see a poll coming on?
I don't think it's 50/50 at all - I am with Churchy on this one. But then since I have his lordship on ignore and am only getting Churchy's comments I may be a little biased.

Would you agree that if you don't fight against what's wrong, you deserve what's coming to you?
You may not like it put in such blunt terms (and in retrospect the smilie was wrong), but the fact remains I am right about this.
Until the IT industry learns to make its case effectively when blatant bending of the rules occurs, jobs will be lost, and are being lost.
That is the point I was trying to make.
Now, would you like to suggest what we can do about it?
There's f**k all you can do about it. It's a commercial decision made by someone else.
Someone has made a decision about who they're going to employ and who they're going to let go.
Don't think for one minute that whoever made the decisions didn't run it by their HR folks to make sure that they weren't leaving themselves exposed legally.
Excellent. Now if the press could only get hold of it - in the current Labour-hating, large corporation-bashing times I believe it would make quite a good story. Anyone want to write to the Times letter page?

Personally I find nothing remotely humorous about saying someone deserves to lose their jobs.
I say it all the time - and worse.

As some day it may happen that a victim must be found,
I've got a little list — I've got a little list
Of society offenders who might well be underground,
And who never would be missed — who never would be missed!
There that bogey eating liar that only has one eye -
All those spineless cabinet ministers who wont tell him 'goodbye' -
.....
CHORUS
He's got 'em on the list — he's got 'em on the list;
And they'll none of 'em be missed — they'll none of 'em be missed.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

...actually, I can think of a few that do. A certain scottish politician comes immediately to mind! Not humorous of course, just deserved.

Reading that PCG site I realise that what I had described in my first post on this thread is called "ICT". And I have a big suspicion that it is being abused. Finding evidence is more problematic unles you are in HR.
