Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus

A quote direct from your post #35 if you are struggling to find it: "The problem I have with doctors is that get rich off the sick and vulnerable"

and from post #7: Being a doctor is probably a cushier number than being a bus driver

I understand you wanting to deny it though, certainly the first comment. Makes you look a really bitter and twisted, doesn't it?
Oops you're right, I used the words medical profession elsewhere. And it's true, the medical profession parasitises on the sick. How can you deny it? That's not to say individual doctors consciously feed off the sick of course. Not over here at least to a major extend at least, and that's what we need to avoid if the NHS does collapse.

No, I am more likely to be stupid than nasty or bitter.

Would you use that term in any other industry? Does a Butcher parasite off carnivores? Does Andy Murray parasite off sports fans? Does a Bus Driver parasite off commuters?

In a sense and depending on context I guess they could. What do you think? A farmer would be a better example than butcher though, and strictly speaking the host should remain alive, although in these cases the host and parasite would be more abstract entities, rather than individual creatures.

So if we gave GPs the same rate as a bus driver and a bus driver the same rate as the GP had the bus driver would now be a parasite and the GP would be a loyal servant of the socialist republic?

Sure about that? I grew up in a mining town, and I know lots of people who were miners, and there's a common theme of lots and lots of lazy bastards who worked doon the pits (Not all obviously) and liked going for a kip for their shift ...

What about a bus driving GP?
You can lead a fool to wisdom but you can't make him think.

But would the Daily Mail say it was a "Twisted bus driver moonlights as GP" or "Twisted GP moonlights as bus driver".

One of these is about right as a quote for Voltaire:

"A doctor is a person who entertains the patient, while the body heals itself."

"Medicine is what we do to entertain the patient while the body heals itself."
