    Epiphone Guitars

Thinking about getting an Epiphone Casino or ES175.

    Any comments/reviews welcome.

    Good guitars,

I prefer a solid body myself but you wouldn't go far wrong with either of those, an ES-335 or a Sheraton.

A good amp would IMO be more important than a top of the range guitar

I did try some cheapish Jazz guitars a while back but wasn't sure. Then recently I picked up the ES175 Epiphone and without the amp sounded quite reasonable indeed. So I'm going to go back and give it a blast in the shop.

My Rickenbacker isn't really up to jazz so I thought it would be good to have a second guitar for this and maybe use it for everything if its good enough.
