I'm fairly sure, well up until recently anyway, you can only get married once in the catholic church. If you get married in a registry office and then divorced you can get married in the church becasue they do not see the first wedding as in the eyes of god. But if you get divorced from a Church wedding then the church still sees you as married. I think.

If you get married in the church and then get divorced and then want to remarry in the church, the only way you can do it is by getting an annullment.

No, I've been told they will marry you - in fact my dad's cousin (who lives in this country) remarried in the church. It probably depends on how strict the Bishop is.

I am not getting my marriage annulled. Still dont see why the wedding could not be blessed.
