      He seems to think that these Sharia laws can be interpreted in some way as superior or alternative to British law. They are not, they just give the Islamic opinion of the situation in question. They only cover the same situations as does any other arbitration service which can be used by anybody else.

                    I'm fairly sure, well up until recently anyway, you can only get married once in the catholic church. If you get married in a registry office and then divorced you can get married in the church becasue they do not see the first wedding as in the eyes of god. But if you get divorced from a Church wedding then the church still sees you as married. I think.
