Don't forget the Sufis; lots of other muslims don't even consider them muslims.Originally posted by sasguru View Post

Yes Muslims stick together. There are no schisms between the Shia, Sunni, and various other mini-sects. No siree, no way.And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

Fair enough.Originally posted by snaw View PostNot at all, just following the statistical line of argument being bandied about here as some sort of population Armageddon.
Though I sure as hell wouldn't want to live under sharia law (I agree with the separation of church and state) I equally have no objections to someone voluntarily choosing to do so, and I can appreciate in some respects it's probably very fair.
It is probably at this point that you and I go our seperate ways and where I also part company from the twat twins.
I do not believe that Islam and its followers are as benign as you obviously do and I have no doubt that your reasons for your belief are sound. By the same token I do not believe the "threat" is as proposed by Wilders and our esteemed idiots.
I do believe (and have for some time) that we should be concerned with what appears to be a willingness, even an eagerness not to upset the Muslims and let them get away with things that would not be allowed to our non Muslim population. Same goes to other minorities to some extent.
I do see what Muslim regimes can become and I am concerned that one day the UK may turn into one.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Turkey has a secular state which was legalised some time ago. Turkey is bubbling close to civil war with its majority Muslim population wanting to change the law to allow them to implement Sharia.Originally posted by lilelvis2000 View PostRiiiiight...and what type of government do they have BTW? Can you provide some specific instances of that?Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostI do believe (and have for some time) that we should be concerned with what appears to be a willingness, even an eagerness not to upset the Muslims and let them get away with things that would not be allowed to our non Muslim population.
I'm sorry about my insistence for evidence - I'm very old-fashioned that way.Hard Brexit now!

What has their government got to do with it, apart from the fact that a religious political coup in Turkey was attempted last year ? It is the future of ours that I am concerned about. Shame that you have to lower yourself to the underclass.Originally posted by lilelvis2000 View PostRiiiiight...and what type of government do they have BTW? You really don't have a clue do you?
