Can you imagine anyone actually wanting her in their business? I'd think it would be instant death to good employee and customer relationships.Originally posted by Peoplesoft bloke View PostIt was funny when they read out the nasty bint's references.Public Service Posting by the BBC - Bloggs Bulls**t Corp.

AMS started as a barrow boy flogging car ariels. He moved into home stereos and then computers by employing the right people to design products for his company. He got someone to develope a one piece stereo that looked like seperates (which were popular at the time) to knock out to the lower end of the market. Sold lots. Did similar for PCs. Saw a market and found a strategy to supply to it.Originally posted by MrMark View PostThe point about most of these candidates is they seem to be one-trick ponies - often in sales - with very little else. Yes, they'd probably do ok for you selling bracelets on the shopping channel, but I couldn't see them even marketing a ERP or CRM system. They convey an impression of being innumerate and basically lacking in technical skills. Still, they make good television, innit?
It is not about how technical or managerial you are in business.
I still think he is an arse.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Zip, I would imagine. As a business man he identifies the opportunity and puts people into the business who know this stuff. I have the impression he would be a difficult guy to work for.Originally posted by expat View PostHow much do you think Alan Sugar knew about PCs?Public Service Posting by the BBC - Bloggs Bulls**t Corp.

Flip it, I'm changing it back. I don’t want to miss this opportunity to point out his grammatical error.Originally posted by sasguru View PostThe Apprentice is one of those programs that make you confirm your initial instinct that "bizness" is an absolutely vile and communists have a point.
What a dunce... Where did you go to school?... Is English your first language? etc etc...
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

Well, exactly. I can't see any of this apprentice crowd being able to help him much. Unless he's already got the next best thing already lined up (perhaps an emailer telephone?) and needs a saleswoman for the shopping channel.Originally posted by Fred Bloggs View PostZip, I would imagine.
