    Neighbour's fishpond

    In another Wilsmslowesque post :

I woke up this morning to see my neighbour's fishpond overflowing. The hosepipe still running, and his fish trying to make a break for it over the inch of water covering his flagstones.

Typically I would think that he decided late last night to top up his pond, and then promptly fell asleep in a drunken stupor (he's good at doing that, usually involved him setting off the burglar alarm and then passing out when he returns from a night out)

Then I started to think that maybe he started topping his pond, and then had a heart attack, or fell and hit his head or something.

I'll prolly pop round there in a bit, after I've had a shower and another coffee.

And for the flaming I'm about to get for posting something so dull, ha, I do not care. Take a peek in the currently drinking/eating/listening to threads. Now that's dull.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

Will you be using this thread as your alibi?

Nah, just bung a benched contractor a few quid. Keep them in pot noodles for a while.

        And?

        Been round there yet?

        The suspense is killing me.

Sadly just a drunken stupor. Left the hose running all night. Thanks for interest.
