As others have said, I think your wife will regret her actions in the long-term if she allows your marriage to end with little effort at reconciliation. I don't think that there are many guys around that would want to take on a ready-made family. I hope she is having second thoughts, for both your sakes.

    Good luck !!
WHS - you say your youngest is just 1 year old, women after birth (and during pregnancy) become all hormonal, they suffer from low self-esteem and need all the reassurance and attention they can get, something contractors are not able to do very well due to the stress and perhaps staying away from home. Show her you want to save the mariage and really mean it!! She is really after some appreciation and attention that's all, so unless she already found the attention from someone else, you still got a chance.

A good strategy is to see as many as possible, avoiding the tulipe ones. Then your Mrs only has the tulipe ones left to represent her because the others can't act for her having already advised you (there's a legal word for this that I can't remember).

The CSA will get involved whoever is named on the birth certificate. A court order for maintenance can only happen if both parties agree. The CSA is all powerful.

Or have I answered the wrong question? You need to be more explicit.

Your posts have been very terse recently EO : everything ok?

I found a way to get my dosh to the kids without getting the CSA involved, and at the same time getting the ex in a vice. If she jerked me around I had control of the dosh (she still managed to make my life a misery. lol)
in ten years she has had 75k off me , via the CSA I would have paid more and she would have gotten zippo.

BP, I never claimed to have Angels wings. it may not be legal. But its right.

As for terseness. Well, I try to avoid serious discussions, I prefer to have a laugh and a joke. Pleomax's situation is no laughing matter though, so I am a fish out of water hence no rolly eyes

Sounds like she's found someone else, women always have the escape route well planned before any ultimatum is delivered!
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Even if she has, that person may think twice about making anything long-term with three kids involved.

If she really is thinking along those lines she is a very immature lady who got married far too young without considering the responsibilities involved. It is indeed a problem with our current society that marriage splits are seemingly encouraged by government policies that are anti-marriage and self-responsibility, and pro single parenthood.

Please don't quote Cyberman, many of us have him on ignore to avoid his ill informed stupid ramblings. Judging by the quotes here he's still as bog useless even on this critical subject.

Sadly the cynical exploitation of any weapon of emotional and material blackmail is totally normal in this sort of situation and none of the parties will be thinking in a fair or rational manner.
