No No No - Cybertory's point is that we expect the Tories to be lying and sleazy so it's fine when they do it; whereas New Labour said they would clean up politics and so when they turn out to be just another gang of sleazy gits, it's worse.

It's a bit like when Jaqui Smith said we shouldn't expect to be able to walk the streets late at night.

I'm confused, does that mean that we shouldn't walk the street at night or Jaqui Smith?
