Low turnouts make it look as though people are apathetic with regards to politics these days but the truth is the average voter feels completely impotent when faced with the current 'choice'.

Do you really need to ask that question ? A poll lead is useless if nobody votes. Wait for the next survey poll and I guarantee his lead will be dropping.

Unless they clear the slate they will not be voted for. That is their choice.
Any expenses claimed for a garden are number one priority for repayment IMO. I will be emailing Cameron regarding Alan Duncan. I will not be voting until these expenses are repaid and I suggest everybody else does the same !!

No No No - Cybertory's point is that we expect the Tories to be lying and sleazy so it's fine when they do it; whereas New Labour said they would clean up politics and so when they turn out to be just another gang of sleazy gits, it's worse.

It's a bit like when Jaqui Smith said we shouldn't expect to be able to walk the streets late at night.
