Just got tix for Counting Crows in Cardiff in May.

There's some still available if anyone else fancies it.

Off to see U2 later this year as well.

      The Hives,
      Yeah Yeah Yeah's
      Rammstien
      Flaming Lips
      Mercury Rev
      Foo Fighters
      The Killers
      Tom Waits
      Rufus Wainwright.

Ones I'd like to have seen - but now no longer possible.
The Clash - cant remember If I did see them - I saw a lot of bands in the early 80's
      The Rammones
      Nina Simmone
      Smiths
      Joy Division
Mr P in his band before he met me

      Best Gigs
      The Cure at Glastonbury '85.
      Polyphonic Spree - very bouncy
The Pogues - saw them 5 times and they were great each time.
      Interpol
      Ian Dury & the Blockheads
      Divine Comedy

You'll be retiring soon then? Can watch bands all day long then.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

I've seen a few you would like to see: Flaming Lips, Killers, Foo Fighters & The Hives.

All good but out of those 'The Flaming Lips' were the highlight, I've seen a fair few bands in my time and the couple I went with have seen at least one band a week for the past 20 years, they said it was the best gig they've ever been to bar none, I agreed...

If you like the Flaming Lips may I suggest adding ‘Super Furry Animals’ to the list? Probably the second best gig (x5) of all time for me.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

That looks to be the only UK date they're doing as well.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

The Hives are amazing, mental, and loud. And be prepared to get bounced to within an inch of your life!

Wayne Coyne and a giant bunny - what more could a girl ask for
I do like the Super furrys too and would have stuck them on my list, but I felt it was getting a bit long
Basically, since Pogle Jr came along going out to gigs is REALLY difficult.

Same here, 18 months ago our social life came to an abrupt halt too, I wouldn’t change it for the world though.

Some say I look a little like Wayne Coyne (I'm grey now).
