Would love to see Big Country again but sadly that is not going to happen.

Saw them a couple of years back at Hampden Park. When I've seen other bands there (especially U2, though no fault of theirs) the sound has reverberated round the stadium causing echo's booms and all manner of unexpected noise...

The Eagles on the other hand had HiFi quality sound, it was excellent.

I opted for indoors at Manchester this time round though after recent British summers
I'm off to that particular pensioners outing in Manchester.

My justification so far is £95 for The Eagles or £100 for Wacko

So £95 starts to look a bit better value......

I've seen him twice already, once at Donnington and once on his little aint enough tour. I just doubt he can do all the high kicks, running about etc that he used to.

The Eagles have played more "Farewell Tours" than most bands have sold albums

I seen that, one of the guys in here got one given to him free gratis - I was pretty pissed off last night tbf. I even toyed with going through on the train and picking one up from a tout for less than face value after the gig had started - generally works well that one

In the end I was a Scotsman, working in Rugby, on St Georges day (the pub was a good laugh though)

I caught them at the NEC on their Razor's Edge tour. And I certainly wasn't going to let having chicken pox stop me going
Toying with a trip to glasgow next thursday up and down on the train same day and maybe catching them there. More chance of a ticket there (even though thats also sold out )
