In CH, it's called Daughter's Day. I took my daughter into my client office. She's decided she doesn't want to work in IT.

She spent the morning drawing cartoons, including a very imaginative one of what happened when her friend went into work with her dad. He's a heart surgeon...

Then I took her to lunch, and she had the afternoon free.

It was funny seeing some 12 year olds unloading a van of heavy duty power tools on the way to work.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

What do you think we should do for 'Girls Day'?

I thought about been waited on by some dishy bloke, who would cook and clean for me - but the ' I want to break free' video just poped into my head and now it does not feel the same.

She's probably more productive than all the permies put together then. Just tell her whatever she does make sure she doesn't become a permie.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

As I recall, Rodger Taylor looked rather too convincing in that video - It had many men rather confused

              That was Roger Taylor?

Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

It was the long blond hair that did it

They're running a "Girls Day" here in an attempt to get more women into engineering.

Quite right too, I say. Dunno about anyone else, but this department is sadly lacking in Eye Candy

You'd be a bit miffed if you only had balding over-aged sacks of fat to look at all day.

                      And that's just the women!
